Introduction

Please use this form if you would like to book the Mansion House for a family get-together, conference, awayday or other event. We can accommodate groups with a minimum of 25 people staying at least two nights on a full-board basis. See our Table of Rates for pricing information.

We accept bookings for a minimum period of three nights. Are your dates flexible?

By telling us how many bedrooms you think you require we can get back to you with options for your group on your preferred date/s. The Mansion House can accommodate groups with a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 41 people in 18 bedrooms of various sizes (check the floorplans for details). For larger groups of up to 60 guests, or for smaller groups where sharing rooms is not an option, we may be able to provide additional accommodation in the adjacent Courtyard House or in our North and South Lodges.

Special requirements / questions

You can use this box to ask us for more information or to tell us more about your planned event and any special requirements (including how many bedrooms you need and what additional services – such as cots and high-chairs for infants, Z-beds for children – you would like). If you are booking an event for a charity please include your charity name and number.

Additional services

We have many links with excellent local suppliers and can help you organise your event by providing additional services such as celebration cakes, a Ceilidh band for Scottish dancing, basic laundry services, etc. We can also help you to book fishing permits (and rods and tuition with enough notice and for an additional charge) or source transport for special excursions.

Useful information

Our daily rate for groups is based on a 24-hour period, which includes three meals. All bookings are bespoke so we will liaise with you in advance about your food and beverage requirements and to find out if you would like additional extras, such as wine with dinner, afternoon tea or packed lunches.

Our rates for the year 1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026 are as follows:

Commercial private hire: £150 per person, per night, full board

You can choose to extend your stay by an earlier arrival or a later departure by choosing a half-board rate for these days.
Discounts are available for children (16 and under) and under fives are free.

Check in times for the Mansion House accommodation will vary and be agreed in advance. Although all rooms must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure, luggage can be left in the Mansion House hall until your departure time.
